Introduction

The Cowryman 042 uses an L-shaped cutter to reach narrow areas, edges, corners, and hinge mortises that can be difficult to approach with a conventional straight cutter. A large depth-adjustment knob and depth-stop ring support repeatable settings. The complete tool includes an 8 mm HSS L-shaped cutter and has an approximate maximum cutting depth of 25 mm (about 1 in.).

The complete router plane configuration includes the Cowryman 042 and one 8 mm HSS L-shaped cutter. The 3 mm and 6 mm configurations are individual L-shaped replacement cutters and do not include the router plane.

Cutter Compatibility

Uses only the Cowryman 042 L-shaped cutter family. Current standalone replacement cutters are available in 3 mm and 6 mm. A standalone 8 mm replacement cutter is not currently offered.
