Introduction

The Cowryman 040 is a general-purpose router plane with larger, outward-angled wooden handles. The angled arrangement provides a different grip posture from the compact 003. Use it for dados, grooves, tenon cheeks, hinge recesses, shallow mortises, and other controlled depth work.

What's Included

The complete router plane configuration includes the Cowryman 040 and one 8 mm HSS straight cutter. Replacement-cutter configurations contain cutters only.

Cutter Compatibility

Uses the Cowryman straight-cutter family. The complete tool includes an 8 mm cutter. Current replacement options include 3 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm cutters, plus a 3 mm and 6 mm cutter set.

No compatible fence is available for the 040.
