What 035 Is Built For
The 035 is a larger-base straight-cutter Router Plane for controlled depth work. Use it for leveling dados and groove bottoms, refining tenon cheeks, guided edge work, and joinery cleanup.
Spring-Assisted Fine Depth Adjustment
The spring keeps the adjustment mechanism engaged while the cutter depth is refined and locked. This is the defining mechanical distinction between the 035 and the otherwise related larger-base 022 configuration.
Larger Base + Included Fence
The 035 uses the larger-base structure, which provides broader support around the cutting area. The complete-tool configuration includes the compatible fence, which can guide the Router Plane relative to an edge. Cutter-only configurations do not include the Router Plane or fence.
Straight-Cutter System
The 035 uses the Cowryman straight-cutter system. The complete Router Plane includes one 8 mm HSS straight cutter. Current replacement options are 3 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm straight cutters, plus a 3 mm and 6 mm cutter set. Cutter-only configurations do not include the Router Plane or fence. The 035 does not use the 042 L-shaped cutter system.
